Ingredients

  • 250 milliliters warm water
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 450 grams flour
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons baker's yeast
  • rosemary sprigs (Fresh, for sprinkling)
  • 2 lemons (thinly sliced)
  • 2 radishes (sliced ​​into round slices)
  • 1 leek (round slices)
  • rock salt

Directions

  1. Place the water and olive oil in the bread making machine, and then add the sugar, salt, flour and yeast, and choose the kneading program (1 hour 30 minutes).
  2. When the time is up, remove from bread machine, cover the dough with a cloth, protect from cold drafts, and let rise for 1 hour.

This focaccia is as good at room temperature as it is straight from the oven. The combination of lemon, radishes and leeks is so surprisingly good. I love finding new flavor combinations that I would not have thought of on my own. I made sure to dimple the dough with my fingers after the short rest so that it would catch all of the olive oil and herbs that were used.
