Do NOT go by the final baking time in the recipe! The initial 15min for the crust is fine, but final bake should be closer to 20, not 30min

They were delicious. Might need to come out of the oven a few minutes earlier.

big hit! if you can wait, cut and chill in fridge, but still reaaally good non chilled.
Also think this should work very well as lime / key lime bars.

i added extra lemon juice and they were yummy but the crust and curd both burned. next time I'll adjust the cooking time on both.

I love the cookie tasting crust and I love the custard the lemon custard but I need to make more of the living custard the next time and using deeper dish because it was too much crust for me

the lemons dident actually cook and it turned out flst, it looked exactly how it was supposed to be and it tasted terrible. good recipe bad chef lol. I wish luck to those that where able to make it good!! talso the time was awful I had to put it in for way more than just 30-35 min had to put it in there for roughly an hour till it was cooked... Oh well.

Crust too thick. Would scale down flour and butter next time. Good lemon flavor.

It's a good one, but crutch a little bit dry, maybe i added not enough butter or something else... but it's still tasty. I'll cook it again some day

These turned out amazing! Time consuming, but well worth it. My father - hard to please - said they tasted amazing. Just like his grandmother used to make them!

The recipe measurements were not clear at all. You need a lot more of sugar and flour than what the initial ingredient list said.
Personally, I replaced all of the sugar with baking stevia (except for 1/2 cup of sugar in the crust)
and maple extract instead of vanilla
For those having trouble with the amount of lemon juice. Just juice all of the lemons you used for the zest in it. (3/4 cup)
As for the taste? It was pretty good :) it was my first time making lemon bars. I didn’t expect it to look cakey on top but it is and the center is the consistency I thought it would be. Could’ve been much more tart though.
