Description
This flavorful simple syrup goes into our refreshing Sparkling Lavender-Mint Limeade, but of course you can also use it to craft your own mocktail or cocktail!
Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 sprigs lavender
- 4 leaves fresh mint

Directions
- Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Take off heat. Add in lavender sprigs and mint leaves and let steep for 12-15 minutes.
- Let cool completely.
- Strain mixture through fine mesh sieve to remove any pieces.
- Store in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

I made it with just mint and it was perfect for my mint juleps! I did let the mint stay in the syrup until it cooled, for maximum flavor.
