This recipe for Langoustine, Cherry Tomato, and Pesto Spaghetti is a rich and hearty dish that is quick and easy. This four-serving recipe only takes 20 minutes to make.   • 300 grams pasta
  • olive oil
  • 500 grams langoustines (tails only)
  • 1 box cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons pesto
  • basil leaves
  • ground black pepper


  1. Cook pasta according to the directions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a Wok type skillet. When the oil is hot, fry the prawns on high heat.
  3. Add the cherry tomatoes, and chopped basil. Stir.
  4. After 5 to 7 minutes, add the pesto, and the same amount of water to dilute it a bit.
  5. Drain the pasta (keep a little of the cooking water).
  6. Add the hot pasta to the wok, and stir to coat them with the sauce.
  7. Stir. If you need a little more liquid, add a tablespoon of cooking water.
  8. Pepper and serve immediately.

Great start...added a bit more olive oil and some broccolini. Also used spaghetti squash instead of angel hair...add some freshly grated parmesan and out of this world!

This was a chef style spaghetti better than anything I have eaten in a long time. My entire family devoured it within a matter of minutes and I have been asked to make it at least once a week.
