I think there was too much soy sauce which made it salty, but I did not have any brown sugar and used honey + 1tbpsn of black molasses rum. I added broccoli for extra vegetables. It was good I will make again with brown sugar.

Delicious! The family loved it! I amped up the flavors a little more and agree that it could use some more vegetables. Next time I’ll add to it so it’s more of full meal.

add carrots, red bell pepper and bok choy. I feel like it needs some more veggie action

Quick, simple, yummy. What more could you ask for? Anyone any suggestions for what greens to pair it with, though?

Great versatile recipe! I give it 4 stars because the given amount of sauce really wasn't enough; I doubled the main recipe for a larger family, but I tripled the amount of sauce to both add while cooking and drizzle on before serving. I used cabbage and carrots for some veg as well, and sriracha and hoisin were great additions too. Add whatever you think will work :)

It was very good. My husband and I really enjoyed it. We omitted the ginger and sesames seed topping. I do not enjoy cooking, however I found this recipe to be “user friendly”. It was quick, delicious, and utilized several condiments that I already had in house. I will definitely make this again.😄🍽😋

Easy and delicious. I like to add finely chopped carrot to the beef for an extra vegetable.

It needed two eggs per serving and more sauce. Maybe make 1.5 and drizzle after it’s served.

It was great! I let it simmer for 10 minutes while I cooked the eggs and rice, and it really soaked up and amplified the flavor.

GREAT recipe! I realized I forgot to get chili garlic sauce, so I used hoisin instead, and it worked like a charm (I probably prefer it that way since I have 0 spice tolerance)! My husband has requested it every week when we plan out our dinners. Thanks for sharing!

Great! I substituted some teriyaki sauce for the soy sauce because I was out. I also subbed vegetable oil for sesame oil and added some sesame seeds and siracha sauce then ate this as a burrito instead of over rice! Avacado might be a nice addition as well....

This was great! I saw the reviews stating it wasn’t spicy enough so I added more chili sauce (I used Sambal). I also added some sautéed kale on the side to add veg since I had it on hand.

Really good, next time I'm adding a little more spice. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because there's a good amount of pots and pans to use.
