Recipe turned out pretty good. I used a deep fryer for 10 min instead of the Dutch oven and added fresh garlic and onion to the soy sauce and sugar mixture oh and a little crushed red pepper flakes...this recipe was easy and quick!

Daaaaamn! I never thought I could make chicken wings successfully from scratch, and I would say it's my favourite pub food. These were amazing - I was so proud of myself! One tip: put sunglasses on when frying the wings - the oil splatters out quite a bit (at least it did for me) and so the shades protected my eyeballs. Plus they made me look very cool.
