  • 500 grams graham crackers
  • 100 grams butter
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 4 limes
  • 4 egg whites
  • 400 grams sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pinch salt

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
    2. Crumble the graham crackers and mix with the melted butter. Press firmly into a pie plate. Bake for 15 minutes, until slightly golden. Remove from oven and cool.
    3. Mix the egg yolks with the condensed milk. Add the lime zest and juice. Pour into the pie plate and bake 25 minutes, until firm. Let cool and refrigerate, overnight if possible.
