- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt

- 1 bay leaf (Small)
- 1 tsp. chili powder (Kashmiri, you may use other mild red chili powder)
- 1 tsp. fennel seeds
- 6 green cardamom pods
- 5 cloves
- 1/4 cinnamon stick
- 6 almonds
- 1/4 tsp. saffron

I enjoy to mix spices so this recipe had a great turn out and my family like it very much. I just used ground chilli pepper and turmeric, I didn’t need to add masala because that is made with the same spices already in the recipe

rubbish, followed directions to the letter, even went to an Indian grocery for the kashmiri chilli powder. So where do i use the garam masala that is in the ingredients?
