Idea is great but I didn’t like how it turned out I wanted to able to taste all the ingredients instead of just avocado and lemon I was able change a few things and made it work for my liking I used 1 lemon, 1 avocado with 1 cup of olive oil and 5 cups of fresh spinach

This was a fun twist on pesto! Each serving gives you a good portion of kale, nuts and avocado so you don’t feel gross after eating it. Probably should have read the previous reviews more closely about the lemon though... I only used one really large lemon and it was VERY lemony. Will use half a lemon next time. It also made a LOT of pesto so I reserved half of it for sandwich spreads.

Great! This is the second time I’ve made it and it was even better. Don’t skimp on the avocado. And add a little more olive oil if the kale is binding up in the blender.

This sauce is amazing! I didn't use as much oil as it called for. I did use 2 avocados so it was nice and creamy. I also breaded eggplant in almond flour and deep fried this and then added this to the pasta with the sauce which was super good. Thank you!!

Made this tonight, having to substitute with cashews, orange juice, frozen shredded kale, and garlic powder. I've never had pesto before, and this was my first attempt at making it so I had no clue what it was supposed to turn out tasting like. My omnivorous husband is a pesto fan, and he went back for seconds! I'm calling that a hit.

i really enjoyed this meal! having only just recently started learning to cook, this was super simple and quick to make. be warned that this is a LOT of pasta, and could probably serve a lot more than 4 people very easily.

Way too much lemon and too much garlic. The garlic should be sautéed first. I would not make it again.
