  • 8 mutton (chops,, 500g, single bone)
  • oil (for deep frying)
  • salt (to taste)
  • 20 grams chilli powder
  • 10 grams garam masala powder
  • 20 grams ginger paste
  • 30 grams garlic paste
  • 60 grams papaya (paste)
  • 10 grams black pepper (powder)
  • 30 milliliters lemon juice
  • 100 grams cornflour
  • salt (to taste)
  • 50 grams flour
  • 10 grams ginger paste
  • 20 grams garlic paste

    Directions

    1. WASH and dry the mutton chops. Mix salt, chilli powder, garam masala powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, raw papaya paste, black pepper powder and lemon juice well and apply to the chops. Keep aside for half an hour.
    2. Mix all ingredients for the batter and add enough water to mix to a smooth paste of coating consistency. Dip the marinated chops in this batter and deep fry in hot oil till done. Serve hot.
