Ingredients

  • 40 grams butter
  • 2 garlic cloves (diced)
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • salt
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon scallion (diced)
  • 24 jumbo shrimp (whole but digestive tract cleaned out)
  • 200 milliliters heavy cream

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, add the butter, garlic, brown sugar, lime juice, cilantro, and scallion.
  2. Stir together well, add the shrimp, and salt to taste.
  3. Saute everything on medium heat and lightly mash on the shrimp heads for them to release their juices.
  4. Once the shrimp are cooked, lower the heat and stir in the cream.
  5. Serve with steamed rice and guacamole.
