  • 600 grams beef brisket (cut into chunks)
  • 2 small carrots (peeled and cut into bite size sections)
  • 4 small potatoes (peeled and cut into wedges)
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 1 curry (japanese, block)
  • 1 oil (table spoon of)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 light soy sauce (table spoon of)
  • 1 sake (table spoon of)

Directions

  1. 1. Mix marinate, add meat and refrigerate minimum 1 hour (could be overnight).
  2. 2. Heat oil in the wok and fry onions, add meat fry till it changes colour, add remaining vegetables, pour in water and add curry block.
  3. 3. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer about 1,5 to 2 hours, till beef is tender.
