One of the best things I've ever tasted! Even tastes good re-heated next day. Be sure to sprinkle coarse salt on them before eating - it's magical

Delicious! Used Monterrey Jack cheese instead of cheddar.

These look amazing, I’m going to try them out today for an appetizer for my family dinner! I’m going to add some crab to mine and mix things up a bit. I was thinking even maybe adding some crisp bacon to them one of these days. But I’ll be prepping to make these here real shortly, can’t wait to try them with the crab. We usually make jalapeño poppers stuffed with crab or shrimp a mini dog, and then wrapped in bacon with a touch of bbq sauce over the top and they are AMAZING!! I can’t imagine these bad boys won’t be as well.

does anyone know if you can make these with an air fryer and if so how long?

While I have not tried these yet (but is will, because they sound great) One thing I intend to change is I am going to use Habanero peppers instead of Jalapenos. Habaneros have much more heat, but when combined with the cream cheese, that dilutes the heat a quite a bit. Maybe use a bit less pepper if using habaneros, as they are fairly hot compared to Jalapenos (by about 10 times actually). Also like the suggestion of adding garlic and a bit of cumin.. Sonds yumm(l)y ;-)

Great appetizer. Of course I love a little sauté onion, garlic, oh and just a touch of cumin...

These were great! I added in 3 jalapeños, and luckily mine were spicy. A lot of the cream cheese melted away in the wrapper as I was frying, but the flavor was awesome. I cut the recipe in half because I didn't want to stuff 50 wrappers - have a friend to help if you make the full batch! Would make again!

These looked and sounded delicious and my husband loves poppers. I had some jalapenos in fridge and decided to try these. I mixed up the filling and made my husband taste it before I went ahead filling the wrappers...he said it tasted like cream cheese and sweet peppers. The jalapenos were the mildest I've ever had! So I added some jalapeno Tabasco sauce, some garlic powder and black pepper to add more flavor. Stuffed the wontons (which was a bit time consuming, but I knew they would) and let them sit awhile before dinner. Unfortunately when I fried them up, many "popped" open and the cheese filling spattered quite a bit. Once I was done making a mess, my husband and I enjoyed them - they were quite tasty! I only fried up half the wontons and froze the rest. Next time I am going to try spraying them with oil and baking them instead. All in all, I would make these again (hoping the next batch of peppers have a bit more kick) when I have extra time on a cold winter day. Would not make them for a party because of the amount of time they take.
