Ingredients

  • 4 sirloin steak (6 oz. ea.)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 jar chunky pasta sauce
  • 3/16 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 4 oz)

Directions

  1. Season steaks, if desired, with salt and ground black pepper.
  2. In 12-inch skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and brown steaks, turning occasionally, 4 minutes or until steaks are almost done. Remove steaks and set aside.
  3. In same skillet, stir in Pasta Sauce and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring frequently, 2 minutes. Return steaks to skillet; top steaks with cheese. Cook covered over medium heat 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. To serve, arrange steaks on platter. Pour sauce around steaks and garnish, if desired, with chopped fresh parsley.

Great for a quick fix on dinner and gives a lot of room to add to really like the basic recipe as is and will make it again!
