But one thing is certain, when it comes to the smoked sausage sandwiches, once you get your hands on one of these delicious Italian subs, you’ll never forget it.
Now you don’t have to wait for street fair season to start. You can easily make your own Italian smoked sausage sandwich right in your own kitchen. - Preheat oven at 425F.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Cook the sausage, onions and peppers in the tomato sauce for 8-10 minutes, stirring often. Spoon the mixture into buns and place on a baking sheet, top with shredded cheese. Bake for 3-5 minutes, just until the cheese has melted.
