  • 4 boneless pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs (Italian-style)
  • 1 Tbsp. butter (melted)
  • 2 tsp. lemon peel (grated)
  • 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 1 egg (slightly beaten)

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil; spray with vegetable cooking spray. In a shallow dish combine breadcrumbs, butter, lemon peel and basil. Brush chops with egg, then dip in crumb mixture to coat top and sides.
    2. Roast for 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature on a thermometer reads between 145F to 160F and allow to rest 3 minutes before serving.
