Italian Roast Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 1 au jus (pkt beef)
  • 1 seasoning (pkt dry Italian salad)

Directions

  1. Plop roast in crockpot. Mix all the ingredients and pour them over roast.
  2. Cook at least l0 hours. Shred roast. Serve over hard rolls or French bread, with or without a dribble of the gravy, and top with a slice of cheese (sharp cheddar? Swiss?..whatever is your favorite?).
