- 3 pounds chuck roast
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1 au jus (pkt beef)
- 1 seasoning (pkt dry Italian salad)
- Plop roast in crockpot. Mix all the ingredients and pour them over roast.
- Cook at least l0 hours. Shred roast. Serve over hard rolls or French bread, with or without a dribble of the gravy, and top with a slice of cheese (sharp cheddar? Swiss?..whatever is your favorite?).
