Jean can't fine the baking temp? I read to preheat the oven to 350.....Not sure why it was elusive to her, but worked well for me. DO NOT over bake. Can be dry, and all ovens bake differently.. I went by light brown color and 18 minutes was fine for me. Nice and looks like a lot of fuss, but good starting yeast bread.

I made this Beautiful bread for Easter and it turned out good. It was a bit dry, because I over baked it, so I need to make sure I take it out no later than 20min. We would have liked it a bit sweeter too. I'm going to make it again with 3/4C sugar and see how that turns out. It's a great base recipe for Morning Buns.

This sounds great it list the ingredients but no where does it tell you what temp to cook it at! Thanks but no thanks!

The Easter bread is a good recipe to learn about making homemade dough and there are lots of slices!

Great recipe. It has become a staple at Easter dinner every year. My children love the eggs, and the outside is deliciously crunchy while the inside is soft and warm.
