  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (can add more, but I would add more broth and milk to have more liquid at the end)
  • 3 carrots (sliced)
  • 2 celery stalks (sliced)
  • 1/2 onion (diced)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk (whole is best, can use half and half if you want it thicker)
  • 3 refrigerated biscuits (Grands, cut into spoon size pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Full of wonderful flavor, and in the Instant Pot it was quick even though I used frozen chicken breasts! Best chicken and dumplings ever. I added a touch of tarragon, white pepper, and garlic powder and used the immersion blender on the sauce after adding the milk. This is a new favorite in our house!
