    Came out great, even the kids loved it. We substituted the brown rice with a package of spanish rice and it was FANTASTIC!!!!! I, like someone else mentioned, got the burn notice too. Not sure why though, as they said, "more liquid?". Going to try it again but pre-cook the meat and onions in a separate pan and see if it makes a difference. Not the way it's supposed to be I know, but process of elimination.

    The recipe is tasty, but like many others, I had issues with burning in my instant pot. I also added two packets of taco seasoning as I like my food a bit more flavorful and I had 1.2 lbs of ground beef. I ended up abandoning the pressure cooking after round two and trying to do the pressure cooking on low. I just used the sauté setting and completed cooking the rice. Once complete and even with the challenges, it was a very tasty recipe.

    Fabulous and so easy! I did cook mine for 20 minutes with brown rice(since it needs a longer cook time) and it was tender but still had good texture. Will certainly make again.

    We heated the instant pot, then added the oil and beef after. Used a half of can of diced tomatoes with green chili’s, and we only had kidney beans instead of black beans. Very good and easy to make! Boyfriend says 10 out of 5 stars

    Excellent!! Follow the instructions and it will turn out perfect. I used Jasmine Rice, and as Step 6 says, "Do NOT Stir the rice" when adding it to the mixture, and it will turn out just right. I did substitute ground Turkey, and added Red Pepper flakes and some garlic salt. Definitely add all the toppings at the end when you're putting it in the bowl to eat: Avocado, Tomatoes, Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese and Tortilla chips.

    I ran into a few problems making this! I did exactly what the recipe said but kept getting the burn error. I scraped the bottom and tried again same thing. Scraped the bottom again and then added more chicken broth same thing happened. The third time I changed the settings keeping it on high pressure but less setting. Same thing again. So I scraped the bottom to try one last time before ordering pizza! This time I changed the settings to less and low pressure. Cooked it for 15 mins then let the pressue release narurally for 10 mins. It turned out great despite all the hiccups. Will definitely make again as my whole family loved it!

    Turned out great, the salsa I used was thick so I had to add more chicken broth to finish my rice.

    it doesn't tell you how much taco seasoning to use other than a packet of seasoning. i have a container of taco seasoning and ended up using too much. not sure why you would use a container of salsa in it plus tomatoes.
