  • 2 pork spareribs (slabs)
  • 16 oz. plain yogurt (cartons)
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh ginger root (grated)
  • 2 jalapeno chiles (seeded*)
  • 1/2 cup fresh chives
  • 1 Tbsp. ground cumin
  • red food coloring

    Directions

    1. Combine yogurt, garlic, ginger, chiles, cilantro and cumin in blender container; puree. Add a few drops of red food coloring. Place ribs in large plastic bag, coat with marinade, seal bag and refrigerate overnight.
    2. Drain ribs from marinade, discarding marinade and place over drip pan; close grill hood and grill for 1 1/2 hours over indirect heat, until ribs are tender.
