  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage (I use turkey sausage)
  • 1 pound ground beef (: sirloin or chuck)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup red pepper (chopped)
  • 1 jar pasta sauce (meatless)
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded Italian cheese
