You need to add another 1/4 to 1/2 cup regular skim milk to batter, it’s too thick if you don’t.

These are FABULOUS! I loved them so much and we had sooooo much left over for my family. (and we are 7 people!) I recommend this for anyone, even trying it with regular milk it still works!

This is a really solid pancake recipe. I actually used it in a restaurant for a bit and got countless praise for these pancakes. In the end I made some small modifications: I skipped the butter in the batter for expediency (they still had buttery flavor without it), and I reduced the amount of buttermilk which gave me much fluffier pancakes. I would go more by look than measurements when adding the buttermilk. It should pour but be very thick.

Made this, it is nothing like Ihop pancakes or any other fluffy pancake recipe. I know there are many factors that could have affected the outcome, from product freshness and quality to room temperature. But being somebody who loves pancakes and normally make some great ones, this just didn't work for me.

The pancakes were light and fluffy and delish! I made a double batch and the leftovers got all eaten up the next day.
