Used brioche bread, and it made 8 slices with plenty of mixture left over. I would guess you could easily get 12 slices out of this mix. My family enjoyed it with a little added powered sugar and syrup.

The French toast came out very tasty!!! I did add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and I added this seasoning called “cinnamon sugar” . Although I didn’t take a measurement for the cinnamon sugar it was amazing I did it to my taste! The recipe was extremely simple and delish!

Great! My mom used to make it like this when we were smaller. I’m excited to have found a recipe similar to what she made.

Turned out great! Added a bit more cinnamon, and some powdered sugar would be great. Topped mine with fruit and banana slices. Yum!

I reduced the recipe, didn't add sugar for just 2 pieces of Texas Toast bread ( the thicker bread), then I had a slightly brown yellow banana that I cooked in the pan with a little butter till it carmelized, wow was that delicious! I also have, in the past, turned oven on 350 degrees if your making more than one serving to keep warm and take out any moisture from the middle of the toast for about 5 to 7 minutes, that works real well and tastes even YUMMIER!

I just recently discovered that toasting the bread slightly will add pizzaz to your french toast ! Try it

I definitely need to improve here. Mine turned out soggy. I also replaced the cinnamon with vanilla because I'm not a fan of the former but there's not a slightest taste of vanilla in what I did.
