They were awful!! They came out flat and super sweet! Half of them burned. will not make again!

Fluffy, but it tastes like cream of wheat cereal which is weird.

Turned out perfectly 👌🏽 the best waffles I’ve had in a while!! **was already eating my waffles before taking photo lol annnnd I used my old band me down square waffle maker**

Great recipe! After adding the milk let it hydrate the flour for a min...it will thicken. So don’t add more milk if you don’t need. I used macadamia milk in place of milk just because I like to lessen my dairy intake. Also lessened the sugar amount and butter a little. This is a great basic recipe you can alter to your liking. If you stick to this, most of the end product depends on how you cook it...how hot and how long.

Maybe I did something wrong, but these things came out so floppy & soggy. Tastes good- more like cake than a waffle, but the texture was awful . Not sure why they were so soggy.

Great taste and soft definitely like a breakfast restaurant

These are very sweet waffles almost cake like. If that’s the way you like your waffles these will be a big hit. They don’t come out as crisp as I would like my waffles to be. But they are very tasty and need very little accompaniment other than some fresh fruit.

It was wonderful, the waffles were soft and buttery, allowing for little extra topping. Definitely better than a pre made mix!

the waffles were either burnt or they fell apart. dont know what i did wrong.

Would definitely make this again! It’s a lot of butter but delicious!
They are delicious!!!! Quite the treat, certainly not an everyday treat but great for special occasions!

sorry but that's quite a lot of butter. I received a gift of the Cuisinart Belgian waffle maker and tried for first time with Annie's mix just added a tsp of vanilla and they were good. Did want to make my own mix not too crispy(husband has trouble swallowing some foods) but this is way to much fat. Need a recipe with less butter but still tasty.

Soooo good!!! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. So easy to make. Definetly my new go to recipe for waffles.

Do yourself a favor and make these now. Bonus- if you have leftovers they freeze great and reheat perfect in the toaster!!

i followed the recipe but added 1/4 teaspoon of salt due to the large amount of sugar and 1 tablespoon of corn starch for crispyness. i cooked them for 10 minutes and they came out great for me....but you do have to serve immediatly. Overall this recipe worked out well and i was satisfied with the end results.

They weren't fluffy, very dense, but nice flavor

tried a couple of time. Tasted decent but never got the crisp regardless of cooking time
Bethany B. 25 Mar
very good and i like the tip about making extra to freeze for later

Followed instructions exactly. I did add 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. These cane out great. When it comes to the baking powder, don’t get confused. They mean 3 1/2 ( three and a half) teaspoons . for a second I thought they meant three halves. Which would equal 1 1/2( one and a half) anyways. Great recipe. husband approved!

Taste great. My family asked me to make it again the following morning. If you let it sit before serving, it will be crispy.

Awesome, added chocolate chips
