Ingredients

  • 4 apples
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 40 grams butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Wash and wipe apples, remove core and seeds, cut in medium-sized slices.
  3. Place in a baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, melt the butter and honey together, pour this mixture over the apples.  Remove leaves from rosemary stems.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes until the apples are soft.
  6. Sprinkle with rosemary and serve with vanilla ice cream.

I would have never thought to use rosemary with apples, but it tastes great. These baked apples must have a great ice cream to complete the dessert. I make these allot in the fall around our house.
