The flavor was good, I didn't have fresh ginger but used ground ginger instead but it was fine for us flavor wise. I think the overnight marinade changed the texture of the chicken though, it was kind of odd, and the last chicken dish I used the same chicken and it was fine. This seemed to make it almost plasticky for the texture. Next time I'll only marinate for an hour or so and see if that helps.

Amazing dish!!! I used boneless chicken breast and cooked it on the grill. I put tin foil down and sprayed it with cooking spray so it didn’t stick. Will definitely be making this again!

It was pretty good — this recipe calls for too much ginger. Cut down on the amount of your family likes hint of ginger.

Sauce is great, Cooked the chicken 30min insteaf of 45min to keep it moist. Had this with a side of noodles using the same sauce.

I overcooked the chicken, so it was tough, but it was very flavorful. Next time I’ll cook it for the recommended time and make extra marinated sauce, just because I loved the sauce over the chicken after it’s cooked. I ate this with some fried rice and over all, it was great!

I marinated overnight and I felt like this sauce sat on the outside of the chicken. I used chicken breasts and cut the cooking time in half. I thought it came out dry. the sauce was very yummy.
