Family loved it. Didn't marinate the chicken for hours though, had no time. Also no ginger. But it still tasted good

I feel like although I followed the directions something was missing. Ours didn’t turn out very well. I re-basted chicken with reserved sauce, but not obsessively. Breasts turned out tough and dry, but were the thin cut.. Thighs may be better suited. I will try again and see if we get a better result. I will probably cut back in the soy sauce. Seemed a bit salty. I think we will be happy to have it regularly if tweaked to our liking!

I used a combo of skinless boneless chicken breasts and thighs. Doubled the marinade recipe. Marinated over night. The marinade ended up pretty thin so I added additional honey and seasoning on the stove top for the glaze. As it simmered at first the marinade was pretty nasty and chunky with chicken fat. I simply poured into a strainer to rid of the funk. I probably baked them for around 30-35 mins, then broiled for another maybe five mins. They came out golden, sticky, and delish! The thighs were the star, though, they pretty much fell apart from tenderness.

Really good recipe this one, served it with mushrooms and noodles

Flavorful! Glaze was not as thick as I would have liked. I basted with hoisin sauce in addition to the marinade.

Amazing and not salty at all, I guess it depends on the soy sauce you use
Jacqueline Osborne 16 Nov 2018
Easy and tasty! It went well with white rice and broccoli. I plan on adding it to out meal rotation.
