A great twist to a crowd favorite. These ribs deliver a sweet, yet tangy flavor. Each bite is full of succulent, juicy meat. They are a great main course for special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 2 kilograms pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
  2. Mix together the honey and mustard to make a sauce.
  3. Place the ribs on a bed of aluminum foil, then salt and pepper generously.
  4. Baste the ribs with the honey mustard sauce.
  5. Place another sheet of aluminum foil on top and pinch the sides, making a “packet.”
  6. Let the ribs marinate in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  7. Place the “packet” into the oven and slowly bake for 2 hours.
  8. If you like your ribs crunchy on the outside, remove the ribs from the packet a few minutes before they are done and broil.

Who knew something as simple as honey mustard could make these ribs taste so amazing? I have made these numerous times now and they always seem to come out just right. I have had so many people ask me what kind of rub I am using. Most are stunned to find out it is honey mustard and some seasonings. They are finger licking good for sure.
