Ingredients

  • 2 chicken thighs (in pieces)
  • cooking oil
  • 1 onion
  • 250 milliliters chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons cream
  • 2 teaspoons mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions

  1. Fry the chicken over high heat, remove from the heat when golden brown and set aside.
  2. Julienne the onion and saute in the same saucepan. Once golden brown, add the broth, cream, mustard and honey, cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the chicken into the sauce and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Plate and serve.

I loved the tender nature of this chicken and the rich flavors. I used breast meat, as it is our favorite. I also reduced the mustard seeds to just half of what the recipe calls for. I also recommend substituting the regular oil for olive oil, as it has many healthy things our bodies need.
