Description

You will need your bread machine for this deliciously sweet loaf. Sweetened with honey, this loaf features slight citrus notes with the addition of a little fresh lemon juice. All you have to do is add the ingredients to your bread machine, hit a button and you will have a fresh warm loaf of bread begging to be sliced into in just a little over a half hour. Spread with your favorite jam or marmalade or toast with just light spread of butter.

Ingredients

  • 120 milliliters water
  • 120 milliliters milk
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 40 grams honey
  • 425 grams flour
  • 7 grams yeast (dried)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 50 grams salted butter (cut into pieces)

Directions

  1. 1Place the water, milk, lemon juice, and honey into the bread maker.
  2. 2Cover with flour then add the salt.
  3. 3Add the butter around the edges of the bowl.
  4. 4Make a well in the center of the flour and add the yeast.
  5. 5Set the program to ‘basic loaf.’
