    lovely muffins that are really easy to make! this is the second time I've made them, this time I used spelt flour and replaced honey with golden syrup and added some macademia nuts which all worked nicely, but so does the original :)

    It was very easy. I melted butter and spread it on the top of the muffins along with some sugar once they got out and it was delicious!

    Great way to use up those extra ripe bananas. I think I over mixed mine but I will not fault the recipe for my mistake. Love the flavor, not too sweet. Perfect for the kiddos, no sugar.

    The positives for this recipe are 1) it was very simple and easy to follow 2) the batter had a really good rise and produce a nice round muffin top 3) very moist and spongy. However, it just was not sweet enough for me. It was more like a bread muffin with very subtle hints of banana. Needs more honey or some sugar.

    The recipe is a bit lacking in flavor on its own. I would add an additional banana and also add some chocolate or nuts to give it a more interesting flavor.

    I have a problem sticking with recipes because I use what I have instead. I had 5 large bananas to use so I used all of them, added 1/2 cup wheat flour to make up for the extra banana, used less oil and two eggs. Tastes great.

    Excellent healthy recipe. I found it just a little less sweeter than I'd like, but my bananas were likely less ripe than the recipe required. Other than that I love how fluffy the muffins turned out.

    I continuously come back to this recipe because it's so delicious. My only modifications are an additional banana, a smidge extra vanilla, and some cinnamon! Love these!

    I made the muffins and switched to 1/2 honey and 1/2 chalf brown sugar. My son and I loved them. I mixed by hand and I left some chunky banana pieces and it was almost like a spoon full of banana pudding! Will def make again!! It wouldn't let me pick 5 stars so I wanted to make sure to put it in here. Lol will def become a staple in our house!

    I just made these and they are delicious! A lot of people have complained that they are not sweet enough. True, they aren’t super sweet, but I think they are fine! Like many others, I made a few modifications which adds to why this recipe so great! You can add to it without ruining it! I added chopped pecans because I don’t have any walnuts, a dash or two of cinnamon, a splash more vanilla (like barely much), and (because I didn’t quite have a full 1/3 cup of honey) I added about 1 tbsp of light brown sugar. Still turned out moist and delicious and soft! Will definitely make these again! Oh, and I used 3 1/2 bananas because that’s what I had on hand lol 😋😋😋😋😋

    Excellent. Moist muffins, easy to do, delicious. I added almonds (could have been walnuts) and half an extra banana. Will try 4 bananas I think, next time.

    They came out nice and moist, though I would have liked a little more of the banana flavor to come through. I will add an extra one next time. I also added in some chocolate chips to half of the batch and those came out very nice.
