Ingredients

  • 1/2 pint heavy cream (1 cup, 1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or more to taste)
  • flavoring (Desired, optional)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon almond extract
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint extract

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, with an electric beater on high speed, whip the cream for 1 minute.
  2. Add the sugar (and any desired flavorings; see below); continue whipping for 3 to 4 more minutes, or until stiff peaks form.
  3. This recipe yields 2 cups.
