Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup milk (warm)
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 3 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup ground pecans
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Add water, milk, egg, and butter to bottom of bread machine pan.
  2. Cover liquid ingredients with flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  3. Set bread machine to dough setting and start.
  4. Remove dough from bread machine onto lightly floured surface.
  5. Roll dough into rectangle approximately 24x16 inches
  6. Spread butter over dough.
  7. Combine sugar, pecans, and cinnamon.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture over dough.
  9. Roll lengthwise.
  10. Cut into 16 equal pieces.
  11. Lay pieces on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  12. Cover rolls and let rise one hour.
  13. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  14. While baking, prepare icing by combining powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla, stirring vigorously until well blended.
  15. Icing should be medium thick consistency. Add more milk or sugar as necessary to get desired consistency.
  16. Spoon icing in equal parts in center of each baked roll, spreading gently to cover rolls.
