Made with one chicken breast and a slice of white bread, this kid-friendly meal is great to put in a lunchbox for a snack. Using a food processor, the chicken, cream cheese, and bread make a savory flavor. After using a fryer, serve with a sauce of your choice to complete this meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast (large)
  • 1 slice white sandwich bread
  • milk
  • 60 grams cream cheese
  • salt
  • flour
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Add the chicken to a food processor and puree.
  2. In a bowl, add a small amount of milk and the bread. Allow the milk to soak into the bread.
  3. Add the chicken, cream cheese, bread, and a pinch of salt. Mix well with a fork.
  4. Fill a shallow bowl with flour, another with beaten egg, and another with breadcrumbs. Mold the chicken mixture into a nugget shape, coat with flour, then egg ,and then bread crumbs.
  5. Fry in a generous amount of hot oil. Serve with your sauce of choice.

With having kids in my home, I wanted a recipe that was easy to make, tastes good, and was healthier than fast food; this recipe did all of that. These chicken nuggets were better than any fast food restaurant could have and my kids devoured them within minutes. A real 4 star recipe I will be making every month.
