    Directions

    1. Place sugar in a small, heavy sauce pan. Pour 1/4 C water evenly over top and turn stove on to medium heat.
    2. Hold pan by handle and swirl occasionally until sugar has dissolved. Do not allow to burn.
    3. Once sugar is dissolved, cover and bring to boil over medium-high heat. Boil 2 minutes.
