Description

Discover the fresh, savory tang of homemade Caesar Salad Dressing. Use this recipe to build your own gourmet Italian Caesar Salad, complete with chicken strips. You can serve the salad as a side, or as the main dish for lunch or dinner throughout the year. This healthy choice takes 30 minutes or less to make.

Ingredients

  • iceberg lettuce
  • chicken (breaded and fried)
  • parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 eggs
  • 4 anchovies
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • vinegar (a few drops)
  • 120 grams parmesan cheese
  • carbonated water (optional)

Directions

  1. Blend all the ingredients for the dressing, except for the cheese. Once the texture is similar to mayonnaise, add the cheese and blend again.
  2. Add a drizzle of sparkling water if a thinner dressing is desired.
  3. Once it is properly seasoned with salt and pepper, place in the refrigerator to chill.
  4. Chop the lettuce. Place the and chicken strips over the lettuce, add the caesar dressing and grate some parmesan cheese on top.
