my favorite campbells's soup is bean with bacon. This soup was perfect! I have made it 4 times in the last 2 months. Easy to make. Highly recommended!

I have made this recipe one of my favs. because my family loves it. I too (like Amy T) altered the recipe just a touch. I didn't cook my bacon so crips and I allow my family to choose if the will add the tomato sauce in their individual bowls. Additionally, I sauted 1/3 cup of shredded carrots with the celery and onions. I love adding as much vegetables as I can sneak in. Other than that, this is a wonderful staple weeknight dish.

Ok. I had to add a LOT of salt. Also, I think I would omit the tomato sauce next time, it tasted better before I added it. I would probably not cook the bacon as crispy the next time either. The flavor was good but the texture was weird. I think if the bacon were a little chewier it would have been better.
