  • 1 knorr homestyle stock - beef (tub)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup white mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 eggs

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven 350°. Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
    2. Shape into loaf in 13 x 9-inch baking or roasting pan.
    3. Bake uncovered 50 minutes or until done. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

    I have yet to find the Knorr Beef stuff in any store where we live, so I subbed beef bouillon in the same amount of liquid. We reduced the amount of liquid added as it turned out too wet the first time. Bacon slices on top are awesome. Just a few tweaks to this make it really good!
