Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 pinch dried thyme
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 2 chicken breast halves (skinless and deboned)

Directions

  1. In a bowl, add the parsley, oregano, thyme, basil, mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, oil, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Stir to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  2. Add the chicken and cover the bowl. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Cook the chicken in a skillet on medium heat until golden brown on both sides and cooked on the inside.
  4. Let it cool for 5 minutes and cut into strips and serve.

This one has a bitter taste to it that some may not like. However, by adding 1 tbsp. of balsamic vinegar instead of 2, it seemed to make it more savory and less sour. It's very flavorful and easy to make.
