    As a new vegetarian I love this recipe. I've made it 3 times this month - it's obviously become a staple. My palate has shifted since going veg and I found the flavors of this chili very nice. I exercise quite a bit and want to get plenty of protein for recovery. This chili is also protein rich with 2 cans of beans and dried lentils. I often add a handful of monterrey jack cheese for a bit of salt and perhaps a spoonful of lite sour cream which really pulls the flavors together. The fact that it is a slow-cooker recipe is icing on the cake!
