I used ground chicken and skipped the sesame seeds but cooked them in straight toasted sesame oil. They were wonderful! My kids ate them all and asked for seconds. I will make this again.

Not very tasty. Definitely needs a dipping sauce. Edit: These were delicious drizzled with a Japanese sesame dressing and kept well for 3 - 4 days meal prep combis.

So much flavor! I absolutely loved these. A couple changes I made; I didn't have fresh ginger, so I used ground ginger. And also garlic powder in place of the garlic. I also grilled these on the grill. And still so so good! The red pepper flakes gave it an awesome kick.

I made it with ground chicken instead and it tastes delicious! It’s a little bit salty for me, though. I will probably add less soy sauce next time. The flavor is on point!

Very tasty, followed recipe with good results. Hubby had the bbq going so I slid them on a grill pan and popped on the bbq. Delish! One note, leave the turkey in the fridge while prepping all ingredients. Turkey is somewhat hard to work with when warm.

I think this recipe is good - not great. Despite all the fantastic ingredients, it just seemed “one note” to me. A sauce on the side is necessary with these patties. They definitely tasted better with a side of sweet chili sauce and garlic chili sauce. I may make them again, but with ground pork instead.

I made it without the ginger & the sesame seeds and it still came out pretty tasty! Cook time was a bit longer than expected though.

Great flavor! I used fresh ginger root and skipped the sesame seeds (I didn’t have any) and it turned out great.

My friends made this for me and it was fantastic. I made it myself and it wasn't quite as good. Who knows why? Maybe because I used extra lean turkey or not quite enough salt, but I followed the recipe.

Great mix of flavors. Be careful not to over cook the ground turkey as it can lose its moisture quickly. Tastes great alongside some Asian noodles with some butter, chives, and sesame oil stirred in the pan from frying the patties

Very easy to put together. Tasty. I didn't have sweet chile paste or another sauce. They definitely need some sort of sauce with them.

Great! We used ground chicken instead of ground chicken and it also tastes great.

They were a bit boring the first time I made them but decided to make them again. Quadrupled the spices etc vs amount of Turkey and they came out tastier. Still had to serve them with chili sauce though. Served with banana curry. Next day they were better as the flavours had gone together and had them without sauce.

Decent tasting...not the best thing on Yummly, not the worst. I was a little disappointed that the stated timing for the recipe (10 mins) was WAY off. 10 minutes to cook them, maybe, but that does not include prepping the patties (10-15 mins) and chilling them in the refrigerator for an hour! Time for recipe should be 1 hour and 20-25 minutes. Not sure it was worth the wait. [I made the recipe two separate times just to make sure that I did it correctly... same results both times.]

Great! Easy to make and very tasty. I made Thai Sweet Chili sauce to go with it and that was good.
