  • 3 potato (packed tablespoons really well mashed cold, about 1/3 medium potato)
  • 1/2 sweet potato (packed tablespoon really well mashed cold)
  • 1 teaspoon sunflower oil (or any other bland vegetable oil)
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutritional yeast (+ a pinch, don’t omit!)
  • 2 pinches turmeric (optional, for colour – better to add less than more)
  • 1/8 teaspoon kala namak (+ a pinch very fine, don’t omit!)

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (Koko original, shake carton really well before pouring, this is a bland coconut milk which works well here)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 teaspoon agar (powder)
  • 3/8 teaspoon kala namak (very fine, don’t omit!)
  • 1/2 tablespoon potato starch (mixed with 1 tablespoon of cold water, don’t omit!)
