  • chopped cilantro (for topping)
  • cotija cheese (crumbled, for topping)
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (more to taste)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (choice, I used Monterrey Jack)
