  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar (packed, use light if that's all you have on hand)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries (or raisins)

This recipe is delicious! It makes exactly 12 muffins worth of batter, too I made it a little less healthy and used chocolate chips instead of cranberries and omitted flaxseed. The kids really enjoy them!
