  • 1/2 cup applesauce (unsweetened)
  • 3 tablespoons unsulphured molasses
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke (I used hickory. Also sold in most grocery stores in spice aisle.)
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
