Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup buttermilk (may substitute 1/2 cup skim milk and the juice of 1 lemon, combined in a bowl and left for 15 minutes for the lemon to sour the milk)
  • 1/8 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 scallion (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill (dry ground)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Combine the buttermilk, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, scallion, parsley, dill, and garlic powder in a bowl with a fork or whisk.
  2. Refrigerate before using.

My son eat ranch with everything. I was intrigued when I saw a recipe for a healthier version. The amazing thing is that it really tastes like the full flavor version. I have made it twice and the second time around I reduce the Worcestershire sauce to half of what the recipe calls for.
