For health its def a 5 star. My husband loved it! I added chicken and rice noodles to make it more hearty, i also wanted to put bok choy but forgot! im sure it would be good as well! the ginger doesnt come out much in the 15 minute simmering so id leave it in or like double the amount you put in if you want a strong taste of ginger, but its still yummy. I added fresh shredded ginger to my personal bowl and it was the perfect level of flavor.

I made this to warm up so I added some thinly sliced red chili, and added some thinly sliced green cabbage as well. It came out great. Next time I will be adding a little coriander root to the simmering process and see how it turns out.

Turned out great! I used kale because I didn’t have spinach. I also added rice noodles and a salt/pepper seasoning blend. This will for sure be added to the meal rotation.

I added a bit to much ginger but it's very soothing, great alternative to vernors and ginger beers when you're having a stomach ache.

I liked it. Doesn’t fill you up like something heavy like stew, but still very good. Would be a great soup when you’re sick. I added bean (Asian) noodles to thicken it up a bit and liked the result.

yummy,but if you are going to store it, wait to put the veggies in until you are ready to eat it. the mushrooms had overpowered the ginger overnight in my fridge

It was good but a bit bland (I understand why) so I did add some salt pepper and cumin. Great for morning sickness preggo chicks and too lol so thank you

Yummy soup! I prefer a spicy broth so I added some crushed red pepper infused sesame oil. Everyone in my family loved it :)

This is a really good comfort food soup. I put a little leftover rice in the bottom of my bowl but it really does not need it. I added 2 cups of spinach ribbons. I would cut them in half next time.

Quick, easy, and delicious. I did add about a cup of diced chicken to make it more filling. I also sautéed the mushrooms in butter, then the green onion for 1 minute longer before adding to soup and some salt. I think next time I will mince the ginger and leave in the soup for more spice.

This was amazing. So easy to make. I added sweet potato noodles and a bit of soy sauce and it was delicious.
