I enjoyed it. But hubby didn’t. I about doubled the stock and added more throughout boiling to make sure it was soup consistency before being blended. Came out like a blended soup, not too thick. I also added extra turmeric, carrots, and some celery. Husband wasn’t a fan of the consistency and noted that it tasted like a ginger-lemon “detox shot”. But I enjoy those flavors more than him :)

Tasty. But why does the recipe on here say 1/2 cup of lentils for 4 servings, while on the website they say to use 1 and 1/2 cups of lentils for 2 servings?

I was short on time so I didn't blend it, and greatly enjoyed the flavors all the same! Following the previous comments, I added an extra cup of broth per 3 cups and still had a very chunky soup, so I think it was a good suggestion. Served with corn chips for extra filling factor- an awesome fall back soup with things I almost always have on hand!

Tasty soup and easy to make!! I’ve double up the stock and I think I could of put an extra cup if I wanted. Enjoy

Didn't have fresh garlic (used powdered) and I had to add water, salt, and some more spices to make it flavorful enough for my liking, but I'm a fan of this healthy easy warming soup.
