Ingredients

  • 20 whole hazelnuts
  • 30 grams ground hazelnuts
  • 100 grams goat cheese (spreadable)
  • 3 pinches salt

Directions

  1. In a skillet toast the whole hazelnuts over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Toast ground hazelnuts for 2 minutes, in a similar way.
  4. Combine ground hazelnuts and salt in a shallow dish and mix.
  5. Coat each hazelnut with goat cheese, forming a small ball with your hands.
  6. Roll the ball in the ground hazelnuts.
  7. Serve with toothpicks.

These poppable cheese balls are the best finger foods ever. I love the warm hazelnut flavor and smell and the uniqueness from the goat cheese. These are going to be the stars of all my parties.
