Description
These distinctive, rustic muffins get their flavor from the addition of toasted hazelnuts on top and hazelnut flour within. The complementary addition of cocoa furthers the theme. Eat them spread with a pat of butter for breakfast or cut them in hald and toast them in pan before enjoying them with afternoon tea.

- 120 grams flour
- 80 grams sugar
- 30 grams cocoa powder
- salt
- 8 grams baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 60 grams butter (melted)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 120 mL milk
- chocolate sauce
- hazelnuts (shelled and toasted)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Add the hazelnut flour to a skillet and toast on medium heat for a few minutes. Set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, add the flours, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Mix well.
